stevic Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 I bought the Galaxy as a second car because it was reasonably priced and so very handy, I had a service done by my local garage, just oil, air and oil filters, new back pads and a general once-over. The service miles previously read 'In02', which according to the manual means inspection, after the small service the service miles reads - service miles 'oil'. I assume the local garage hasn't the software to reset the whatever. I'm not that bothered as the car won't need servicing for 10,000 miles (about two years driving), but is there any way of taking out the service required status without going to a main dealer? Quote
seatkid Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Seesh...another one who doesnt read the FAQ or try a search..... its here! Quote

mumof4 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Im beginning to the think the FAQ should be in a subforum of its own......i mean..its pinned in technical i know...what about..catagoriseing the FAQs???..i.e..=MK11, MKI...body, engine etcc???..just a thought. Quote
NikpV Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 (edited) I sort of agree a sub forum of technical but need to keep mk1 and mk2 together since a lot of it is in common but we could have separate parts for electrics, transmission, bodywork etc ..... but what I said here don't worry the faq is only there so that we can say 'its in the faq' and 'heres the link' (it saves us searching for the post) is true - we know that here is a link there and can find it quickly Edited September 23, 2007 by NikpV Quote
big_kev Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Just make sure to reserve plenty of hard disk space for the "air-Conditioning" section.... :16: Quote
